Laser engraving burns the design and text in permanently, so the topper looks flawless even after shipping and being pressed into a cake. For bakeries, repeatability matters just as much: once a design is approved, it comes out identical on every future order.

A practical note on food contact: a topper is a decoration, not a food product. In line with common industry practice, we recommend a clean spike for inserting it, or a thin film at the point of contact — we're happy to work out the details with you.

What engraves well on wood

Simple, legible designs stand out best:

• Names and occasions — "Happy Birthday," the newlyweds' names, milestone anniversaries.
• Your logo — your bakery's name on every topper, so your signature travels with the cake.

A sample first, then the series

New bakeries almost always start with a sample. You upload your design in the form (PDF, SVG or PNG), we engrave the first piece as a test, and only once everything is right do we produce the series. That way you hold the material, the engraving depth and the format in your hands before you commit to a larger quantity — the main reason bakeries keep coming back to us.

There's no minimum order — we engrave from a single piece, from a sample to a standing series. The price depends on the format, the engraving size and the quantity; for larger runs, just tell us the number of pieces and the design, and we'll prepare a tailored quote within 24 hours.
