Can the topper go on a cake?
Yes, resting on the finished surface — that is exactly what it is designed for. One thing to know: it is untreated wood, not a food-contact material. Set it on top rather than pushing it down through the cake, and take it off before you cut and serve. Treated that way it also survives the party and stays as a keepsake.
Can it carry a name, an age or a date?
Yes, and that is the usual request. Names, ages and christening dates are engraved at 0.1 mm precision, and there is no minimum order — a single topper for a single birthday is a completely normal order here. Personalised pieces are drawn first, so send the wording and you get a price back.
What is it made from?
Quality plywood, laser-cut and finished by hand so the edges are smooth rather than sharp or splintered. It arrives ready to use, with nothing to assemble and nothing to sand.
Can I wash it and use it again?
Keep it rather than wash it. Bare wood does not survive water — it stains, swells and warps. A dry cloth is all it needs, and on a shelf or in a memory box it will outlast the photographs from the day.

In our family workshop in Gemer, Slovakia, on our own laser.
