Description
Character and tasting
The nose is medium-intense and expressive: lemon peel, lime and grapefruit are joined by peach, Williams pear and Jonagold apple, with restrained spice behind the fruit — clove, light toast, roasted seeds and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, a fresh acid backbone carries a medium body and well-integrated alcohol. The steel-aged half brings clean, focused fruit; the barrel-aged half adds elegant spice and textural depth. Citrus and stone fruit lead, a spicy, gently piquant background follows, and the sip finishes long and precise.
At the table
A genuinely versatile food wine: try it with seafood, a summer stuffed cabbage, or a green-apple and fennel salad.
