Description

Character and tasting

A sweet wine that, in the winery’s own words, reaches “far beyond the traditional dessert-wine role.” Hárslevelű and Yellow Muscat grow on the volcanic slopes of Istenhegy, Koldu and Betsek, on 40-year-old vines. The nose is inviting and rich: acacia flower, beeswax and golden raisin. On the palate, dried apricot, ripe stone fruits, Meyer lemon and fine tea notes unfold over a balanced structure — 107 g/l of residual sugar held taut by the acids. Harmonious, silky and long, a graceful, fresh-spirited sweet wine that is remarkably polished even young.

At the table

The classic partner is foie gras. It is equally at home with an upside-down pineapple tart or crème brûlée, stands up to aged parmesan and roquefort, and makes a surprisingly good match for a pulled-pork sandwich with caramelised red onion.

Frequently asked questions

Is this only a dessert wine?

No — the winery itself places it “far beyond the traditional dessert-wine role.” Its fresh acidity keeps it lively enough for cheeses and even savoury dishes, not just the sweet course.

How sweet is it really?

It carries 106.7 g/l of residual sugar, but 6.3 g/l of acidity holds that sweetness taut — the wine feels silky and fresh rather than heavy.

What should I pair it with?

Foie gras is the classic. It also loves crème brûlée and upside-down pineapple tart, aged parmesan or roquefort — and, for the adventurous, a pulled-pork sandwich with caramelised red onion.

What exactly is in the bottle?

The 2024 vintage of a Hárslevelű and Yellow Muscat blend from Harmónia Szőlőbirtok’s volcanic Tokaj vineyards, bottled in August 2025 in a 0.375 l bottle with a screw cap; the wine holds a Wine Awards gold.

How is it shipped, and who can buy it?

Every order ships from our Slovak workshop, typically within 2–5 working days across Central Europe. Wine is sold to adults aged 18 and over only — please enjoy it responsibly.
