Wooden Gift Basket – Leaves
A laser-cut plywood gift basket with a carrying handle, its long sides pierced with a pattern of falling leaves. 10 × 33 × 22 cm, sold empty so you can fill it yourself.
Description
The leaf motif runs the whole length of both long sides, cut clean through the plywood rather than printed on it, so the contents show through the gaps and the light shifts across the basket as you carry it. Nothing on the surface can rub off, because there is nothing on the surface.
At 10 × 33 × 22 cm this is the long, shallow one: the shape for a row of jars, a few bottles laid down, or a bakery box that needs its own footprint. The handle is cut from the side panels themselves rather than fixed on afterwards, so there is no joint to work loose under a full basket.
Every piece is sanded by hand after the laser has finished, until the edges are smooth and splinter-free. The wood is left bare — no plastic, no coating you can feel. The same laser that cuts the pattern can engrave a name, a date or a company logo into the side panel.

Frequently asked questions
Is it sold empty?
Yes. The basket is the container; what goes in it is up to you. If you would like it filled with honey, mead or chocolate from Slovak producers, use the box builder on this site or ask us and we will put it together.
Can you engrave our logo on it?
Yes. The logo is cut into the wood in the same pass as everything else, so it sits in the surface rather than on it and there is nothing to peel. Send a vector file if you have one; if you only have an image, send the largest version and we will tell you whether it holds at the size you want.
Is there a minimum order?
No. A single engraved piece and a run of several thousand are both normal work here. A single personalised piece costs more per unit, because preparing the drawing is the same work either way, and there is no obligation to order more afterwards.
If we order again later, will it match?
Yes. We keep the drawing, the settings and a note of the sheet we used, so a second run is the same object rather than a near miss. It is also why a repeat order takes less time than the original one did.
What is it made of, and is it finished?
Plywood, cut on our own laser and sanded by hand afterwards until the edges are smooth and splinter-free. It is left bare: no varnish, no lacquer, no plastic. That is why it feels the way it does, and it also means it is not a wipe-clean surface.
